MEL – Cessna CE-680 Citation Sovereign
Transport Canada-Approved Minimum Equipment List (MEL)
Our MEL services are designed to be a comprehensive MEL solution, with the initial manual ready to use immediately upon delivery. Subsequent revisions incorporate all the latest changes to regulations, the MMEL, and the manufacturer’s procedures. We have developed an extensive library of regulatory notes that interpret regulations, and we provide custom procedures for items that require operators to develop their own procedures. Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL) for private operators are approved by Aerofoil’s in-house Transport Canada Minister’s Delegate for MEL Approvals.
MEL manual services include:
- Required preamble and front matter: instructions for use, summary of changes, abbreviations, definitions, required navigation equipment chart, MOD status page, deferral procedures.
- FAA MMEL items.
- Transport Canada Supplement items.
- Manufacturer procedures.
- Regulatory notes written in plain language.
- Aerofoil custom-developed procedures when manufacturer’s procedures are not provided.
- MEL amendment review process completed semi-annually.
- MEL amendments published semi-annually (at operator’s request).
- Transport Canada approval (for private operators).
Terms of Use
The MEL may only be used by the operator for internal purposes.
Time of Delivery
We require six weeks to develop and approve a MEL. The start time will depend on our current work backlog at Aerofoil.
