Compliance Library OTAR Part-43
General Maintenance Requirements

Description

The requirements of this Part cover:

  1. the maintenance of aircraft which are required to have a certificate of airworthiness issued under OTAR Part 21 Subpart E; and
  2. the release to service after maintenance of aircraft which are required to have a certificate of airworthiness issued under OTAR Part 21 Subpart E; and
  3. the maintenance and arrangements for the release for flight of aircraft operating under a Permit to Fly.

Following your purchase, we will get in touch with you to integrate the Compliance Library into your Web Manuals application.

How Does the Web Manuals Compliance Library Function Work?

The requirements of the library are presented in a hierarchal manner with expandable sub-requirements for easy and intuitive navigation. This enables document authors to work with linking the regulation to the relevant part of the document, either covering an entire overarching requirement or a specific part of a requirement.

The requirements and sub-requirements in the library can be connected to specific headings in the manuals authored in the Web Manuals application.

Compliance requirement connections are automatically tracked by the Web Manuals application to ensure full compliance with the regulations and standards. When the corresponding authority publishes an update to the requirement, the Web Manuals application prompts the relevant users to make the necessary changes in their manuals. This is done in multiple ways:

  • The Compliance Library view lists all changes and marks the outdated connections
  • The Checklist view lists the outdated connections in a similar manner
  • If configured so, the Editor and/or the Reader view marks the headings in red

Moreover, all additions, removals, and changes made to the requirements are listed individually in the Amendments view.

The application can also keep track of requirements that have been documented and or/reviewed. Likewise, individual requirements can be assigned to the users responsible for them, so that only they may confirm the documentation or the review of specific requirements.
